Show Notes

Alex and I delve into the beautiful world built by JK Rowling, and give our thoughts on "The Boy Who Lived", Harry Potter. From our favourite book and movie, to favourite character, we dissect the films and characters and give out some of our favourite facts. Did JK really write Snape for Alan Rickman? How did Daniel Radcliffe really get the most well known role? Why were the first 2 films so wooden? We answer these and more as we talk about one of the most loved franchises in the history of literature and cinema. With quotes and some completely unexpected music to go with them; as well as some weak links, sit back and enjoy the quotes, music and chat of Harry Potter.

Dead Air Movie Interview

Recorded at Reading Comic Con on Saturday 25th November 2017, I am privileged to have been able to speak to the writer and the director of the brand new British horror/comedy movie, Dead Air; a film about an all-girl punk rock band stuck on a plan with a creature that is a mix between a Gremlin and a Critter. I was also very lucky to have been able to read the script and review it prior to this interview. Check out my wordpress for this review (details on sicoal media). We discuss all aspects of the film, the crowdfunding and the casting, as well as plenty of other tid-bits, including some little known facts and what the future COULD hold for a feature length version of the film. We are then joined by David Schaal, who stars as the pilot in Dead Air, as we talk about his role, how he came to join the project as well as some interesting facts. A fantastic insight into a brilliant film. A must listen for anyone who is interested in Indie films and loves the classic 80's and 90's horror comedy films. This is most definitely the film and podcast episode for you! ...

Batman vs Superman - Fixed!

Alex and Andrew join me as we use the release of Justice League to look at, and fix, its predecessor, Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice. We discuss what went wrong with the film, how it impacted Justice League, and look at the areas we would change. Alex throws in a brand new storyline which would not feel out of place in a new DCEU franchise, and it makes a lot of sense. It would change the landscape for a bang average Justice League film. We look at replacements for certain parts, look at what options are available and play some amazing Superman and Batman themed songs. If you ever thought about fixing Batman vs Superman, or you thought it could be better, then take a listen and enjoy! ...
