Alex & I take a break for the slating and downbeat and look to invigorate those who are looking to be creative, be original, be different and challenge Hollywood's remake culture at the moment. This was all Alex's idea by the way! Haha! We discuss the most important areas to help you be more creative and original and how that relates to films and tv shows, giving examples of where those who have challenged and been different have shone through and taken us on a journey through new processes. With so much going on, we wanted to inspire others to put themselves out there and create content that can push boundaries and give them the tools to do so. We actively encourage scripts and screenplays to be sent in and we can give feedback etc. We hope this is a nice break from the norm and is informative and helpful, along with our choices of music to help us push ourselves forward in times of "blocks" We genuinely hope you like this one off. Don't forget to leave us a review :) ...
I was privileged to have been given the opportunity to interview some of the guests at the amazing Reading Comic Con on Saturday 25th November. I really hope you enjoy the massive variety of guests I was able to speak to. **Luke Barnes & Dominic Carter**; Nights Watch members from GOT, talk about a Scouse Dr Who and who they think will end up on the Iron Throne; **Ross O'Hennessy** ; The Lord Of Bones, tells me about how easy his costume was to put on and take off whilst everyone else had hours in makeup and how smug it made him feel before telling me his favourite part of Game of Thrones, **Josh Herdman** ; Goyle from Harry Potter, and I bond over our love of Rap and what it is like to meet fans, **Hannah Spearritt and Ben Mansfield** ; Abby Maitland and Captain Becker from Primeval, talk about their funniest moments on set and breaking some vans before tearing it up on the Top Gear track. I then talk to some Cosplayers, **Jo and Becca** , who reveal some hints and tips to get into cosplay, where to go, and their reasoning behind why they love to cosplay. Finally I talk to indie gaming guru **Jupiter Hadley** (how awesome is that name?) about the latest indie games, how she got into the role and what it means for her to get the chance to review all these up and coming games before they even hit the shelves. ...
Alex & I are joined by Jaz, who is a "Pokemaniac" and they both enlighten me in the arts, and love, of Pokemon, from it's inception right up to now. We discuss the games, anime, movies and merch as well as me testing them both to name as many Pokemon as they can! As someone who has never been into Pokemon, it was eye opening and interesting to learn all about the worldwide phenomenon. I even owned up to playing Pokemon Go when it was the "in thing"! ...
